Sweeping through TikTok and captivating food enthusiasts around the globe is the latest culinary sensation: the capsicum sandwich. This healthy low-carb lunch is redefining the sandwich game, offering a crunchy, flavourful alternative to traditional bread. We've opted for a classic combination of fillings: cream cheese, ham, and cheese. This trio harmonises beautifully within the crunchy confines of the capsicum.

- 4 capsicum
- 100 grams of cream cheese
- ½ cucumber
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of cheese
- Sprouts (optional)
- Mayonnaise (optional)
- Salt and pepper

- Start by cutting off the tops of the capsicum. Then, halve lengthwise. Remove the seeds and white parts.
- Slice the cucumber into strips.
- Season the cream cheese with salt and pepper to taste. Spread the cream cheese on the bottom halves of the capsicum.
- Layer the ham, cheese, and cucumber strips on top of the cream cheese-covered capsicum halves. Drizzle with mayonnaise according to your preference.
- Add sprouts on top of the mayonnaise, then cap with the top halves of the capsicum.
- Serve with additional mayonnaise of truffle mayonnaise on the side, if desired.
