
Salanova salad with celery and smoked chicken

- 1 apple
- 3 stalks celery, finely chopped
- 200g Salanova® green and red butter - washed
- 150g smoked chicken cut into strips
- 40g walnuts, finely chopped
- 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp walnut or white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon wholegrain mustard

1. Cut unpeeled apples into small pieces. Combine apple with celery, Salanova leaves and smoked chicken in a bowl.
2. Whisk olive oil and vinegar and mustard. Season to taste with pepper and salt. Sprinkle salad with walnuts to finish. For extra flavour lightly pan-fry nuts without oil for 3 minutes.
You can use turkey instead of chicken.
